What is the digital divide?

Whilst in the 80s of the last century the computer completely changed the ways of organisation, production and management of the secondary sector and the service sector, information technologies invaded the private lives of citizens in the 90s. Pc democratisation and networking changed our society considerably. From now on, information technology served to communicate and to offer information products and services.
